Stones has spent 2 years semi-permanently injured. No point in over-using him when we’ve got such an able deputy in Laporte

Wouldn't cal him a deputy, they all fit the bill when fully fit and it is wise to rotate unlike the dippers running everyone into the ground

Gundy was a bit off last game , he was injured before , kev is our best player , he needs minutes

He probably should be getting the minutes from the bench and building his fitness up, rather than starting 2 in a row.

Gundogan probably needs a rest though and hopefully we'll be back to a central 3 of Rodri, Bernardo and Gundogan for the rags match.
