Currently in hospital recovering from (successful) surgery, so do not have my home system setup and will be watching this on my laptop (as the TV in my room is exceedingly small, old, and too far away for me to see clearly), so won’t be in the match thread (I can hear a few rejoicing).

I hope the lads are able to give us a comfortably dominant performance tonight. But even if it is more of a slog than expected, I hope blues will remain patient and confident that the team will get the job done.

I also hope Phil has a FWA Footballer of the Year showing today again, just to hit home exactly how deserving of the award (and PFA Player of the Year) he is.

Come on City!

Glad the op went well blue

Hope City can put a smile on your face today

Wolves beat us 2-1 with only 1 shot on goal. That’s life. So …
First and for all we need a win. I don’t fck care how we get it, just get this 3 points over the line. If we do it the Wolves-way, Pep won’t like it and I would give a fart.

Anything else is simply a bonus.

There’s so much shit in the media over the last few weeks again, Pep had simply too much material to get his players motivated.

Starting 11? Anyone. They are all great players with fantastic fighting attitude. So no worries there.

Fucking tough, tough game this. Wolves are still in with a shout of European football if they win all their games. Arsenal will win at lunchtime and we know from Klopp that lunchtime kick offs are great for putting pressure on your opponents. We will be under pressure from kick off and as we've proved against Madrid our players don't respond well to pressure, especially Haaland.

Take 1-1 right now and hope the Rags turn Arsenal over in the coming weeks.

Anyone know if the walk way from holt town open ? Or is it still closed off Because of co op?

Cold hearted, professional snipers mentality.

Win to nil.

Minutes into squaddies legs.

Into the fridge.

Fool Ham.

If we can’t beat Wolves at home we don’t deserve the title.
Never really understand the logic of these type of posts. Over the course of a season every team drops points to teams that they should theoretically beat. If we end the season with more points than any other team, then we deserve the title, regardless of whether or not we beat Wolves at home.

I said before the Luton game that if we were gonna drop points it would be against teams that theoretically, on paper(!), shouldn't be anywhere near, but the way we set up, with Akanji, fifteen yards inside the oppo half, leaving Kyle to beat the WR for a fifty yard sprint, can make for an uneasy ninety mins, unless we score a brace inside the first ten mins!!

It's about time City bought into the notion of 'formality' and duly delivered. I hope today is one of those days, and so is tomorrow and this coming Friday!
