Why the fuck did she move for him? They asked her to leave her seat, why didn't she just decline?
cos she would probably get arrested for not complying with an aircraft officialThe Fat el Hombre said:Why the fuck did she move for him? They asked her to leave her seat, why didn't she just decline?

You don't have any rights on an aircraft, if your told to move or get off you have no choice or end up in Gitmo !The Fat el Hombre said:tueartsboots said:cos she would probably get arrested for not complying with an aircraft official
But surely she's well within her rights not to move?

The rule is that the airline must first ask for volunteers and it can work out very well financially for the person who is bumped. If no one volunteers then they have the right to bump people and it will usually be people on standby. In this case though she should have stood her ground as she had a seat and the flight wasn't overbooked.tueartsboots said:You don't have any rights on an aircraft, if your told to move or get off you have no choice or end up in Gitmo !The Fat el Hombre said:But surely she's well within her rights not to move?
The only rights you have are for the provision of food, water and toilet facilities if delayed or stranded when airside/on an aircraft as you are technically not in any country but in international airspaceThe Fat el Hombre said:tueartsboots said:You don't have any rights on an aircraft, if your told to move or get off you have no choice or end up in Gitmo !

That would be a fair way to charge, say a combined total of 110kg; anything over they charge extra.
