Yes I thought that was daft, it's just a filler while the main season switches to winter.

The season doesn't start until September.

This Spring Series is just to fill a gap because the Euro's were on.

Also, I get the feeling the FAWSL want to line up the season with the other women's leagues.

The French League for example is in line with the men's game, ours isn't.
