She is talking about for USA women’s team parity with the National Men’s team.. as their coverage/ sponsorship is as much based on their women’s as men’s. Not generally..

The womens game, in the US is a different level, in comparison to the mens, than it is here so thats got nothing at all to do with anything.

Someone should introduce Karen Carney to the letter T. Watching the game was made worse by listening to Pearce, just waffling on and reminiscing, occasionally mentioning the actual game, but especially his commentator constantly saying Ci'eh, Ci'eh

Really disappointed watching today match , didn't think Chelsea where that great , just that we were really woeful, Chloe Kelly looked good but most of the rest of the team just didn't turn up !
Didn't hear any of the midfielders, Keira Wash or Caroline Weir !
Hopefully next week (first game) some of the rustiness will be gone and a kick up the arse should help and we can have other good season.

The national women teams here and there routinely do better than the men,i believe it was about the USA womens team that were asking for equal pay so you are being a bit disingenous

No, I’m not, I said in my post “certain women”. I am well aware that the campaign is being lead by the USA women’s team buy my point about quality remains. The women’s game is nowhere near the same standard as the men’s game, even at US international level.

I have absolutely no issue with equal pay for an equal job and when the women’s game at the top level is the same quality as the men’s game and the women’s teams draw the same level of support, sponsorship and TV income as the men’s game by all means pay them the same. Then that American woman with the pink hair could maybe make as much as Messi !
