The women's game still has a long way to go European wise.

This is actually an improvement given Lyon have won the last five dating back to 2016. More teams are now investing in it. I do think Chelsea are underselling themselves here.

They'll have to improve on today's performance. They make heavy weather of playing ordinary teams and it's only when the opposition are dead on their legs do we seem to find the goalscoring touch. It'll be interesting to see who we get in to cover the departures.

BBC not showing any scores from the Women's FA Cup and the FA have us down as losing to The Hammers 2-3.

Shocking BBC coverage as usual, no scores updates at all, but they've got latest scores from the Portuguese League. Their coverage of the womens' game is painfully twee as does the game no favours.
