Norwegian international, Julie Blakstad, has signed:

Good news. Not sure we needed another midfielder though.

How about a centre back so Greenwood can play left back again?

Scottie's gone to Villa so we have a space, and we need a few ideas in midfield. The scoring record ain't too shabby either - a goal every other game!

Yep spot on. I can also see maybe Coombs, Beckie and White not being here next season - this is a much needed and very good signing. We needed to reinvigorate and evolve the squad - Blakstad & Raso give us pace and scoring options alongside what we already have.

As for at the back I presume the plan is for one of Morgan, Kennedy or Mace to cover alongside Steph with Greenwood taking over from Stokes who in my opinion has gone backwards this year.

The last couple of years, in my opinion. The only thing she has on Alex is pace. Greenwood is a much better full back. I am a big fan of her as a player. As a person, let's say I am a fan of her as a player.

Nobody at City, in any age level, or of any persuasion, is encouraged "to boot the ball into row Z" thankfully.
Would have secured us 3 points against Arsenal and kept us in a possible title challenge. Nothing wrong with a defensive clearance that actually clears the danger of a possible goal being conceded.

I was thinking this but she had a very good game v CFC.

?

Come on, can't drop teasers like that without telling a tale.
Ok. Right before covid lockdown started I purchased my younger daughter, who would soon turn eight, a Lionesses shirt with Alex's name and number. My daughter plays fullback and AG is her football hero.

When my daughter received her top she asked if I would show Alex on Twitter (my daughter was Twitter aware we'd watch football related things on it together. ) I tagged Alex with a photo of my daughter saying how excited she was for the shirt of her favourite player.

Alex commented about how cute it was, etc. She ended up direct messaging me telling me to tell my daughter to keep faith during covid and all will be OK. She said she wanted to send her one her Lionesses shirts and asked for our postal address. A few months later, she messaged and said the shirt was on it's way. Let her know when it arrived. My daughter was over the moon.

I waited two and half months and messaged her saying it hadn't arrived and perhaps it was lost in the post. She said she'd look into and after time she told me she had sent daughter another shirt in the post and was sorry the first didn't arrive.

A year plus on, my daughter is still waiting for it. However, she has stopped checking every day to see if it has arrived. She did cry a little about it and I told her things happen that way sometimes with adults. Because someone can play football or sing, etc. it doesn't necessarily mean they are great people.

And that is why I think she is a better footballer than person.

Wow, why even offer if you're not gonna bother.
A sad life lesson for a young football daft fan.
