They’re going towards the relegation battle. Would never have believed that!!
Need an own goal from Villa or a soft penalty award for us to win this. God help us if Villa decide to launch an attack.

I'm following the game on the BBC text. I think this is a perfect description of what I have seen so far this season:


HT: Man City 0-0 Aston Villa
Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, who is on Sky Sports, has just called Manchester City's approach in that first half "paint by numbers" and it "has been pass, pass, pass".
They had a lot of the ball but didn't really play with any tempo and struggled to penetrate a really organised Villa defence.
