Chelsea would have scored 12 against this Leicester team. Our finishing and in particular that of Ellen White needs serious addressing.
Jess Park has played well but Ruby Mace hasn’t been great.

The pattern of play, considering the possession we have had in that second half, is just mind-numbing. Players, receiving the ball in midfield, with no opposition player within five or ten yards, choose to pass back. We drive forward to the oppo area and then apply the brakes and pass back. Yer right about CFC getting a dozen each half against a team like Leicester. We seem to have incredible purple scoring patches stretching over a minimum of minutes and then the most toothless periods where we bang a collective head against a wall. I think CFC or The Arse would have put us under severe pressure in that game. I await the Arse game with some trepidation.

I thought they played well in the first half and created a huge number of chances, and had the game won after 30 minutes. Didn't have a great view of the second half, but after the early brilliant goal, and the changes, it looked like many went through the motions, which is hardly a great surprise, as there was no need to score 12, the job was done, and there are bigger and more difficult games to put effort into.

Missed this game, didn't even know it was on, they really are badly bloody advertised :(

Probably didn't want to get accused of disrespecting the opposition by scoring too many so took it easy in the 2nd half.

Plusses from the game were Jess Park and more minutes for Houghton & Bronze. Nice easy debut for Keating too.
Should have had one weeks ago.
