I don’t think the women have done themselves any favours in making this choice based on the aforementioned reaction to Sep Blatter’s comments.

the commentary has been a joke past few weeks against United & Chelsea but yesterday was another level , going on about Protocol and Roebuck shouldn't be able to even train for next 2 weeks due to to injury, making excuses as Spurs lost a striker but oblivious to the players City have been missing this season.

According to one of the players (replying to a comment on Twitter) Puma gave them a choice when they took over from Nike and Steph and her co-captains put it to the squad for a vote. They chose short over long shorts.
