Lacklustre second half and the substitutions added nothing. Hope that our failure to really rack up the goal difference doesn’t come back to haunt us. It would be typical for Russo,Toone and Zelem to all get hat tricks later!!

Can’t help thinking we should have got another 2 or 3 today.
Scoring goals to chances created, is what counts.
Think this is typical of all our teams, even the EDS.
We are seldom beaten for shots on target, total shots and also corners.
Where we do fall down on is goals scored to chances created.
Even Ellen White, who is a domino striker for England, doesn't seem to convert a similar ratio of goals scored for City, as for her country.
Not sure why really ?
Appreciate that all the respective teams pack the defence and midfield when they play City, but we can be frustrating with the excellent chances we miss...

Agree with this. We were playing such an inferior team who looked scared to death whenever any one ran at them but yet again there was so much dawdling in our own half. I don't think Leicester would have scored if we had no goalie. I know it sounds entitled but it should have been at least 6-0.
Also, Shaw was so much better at holding the ball up than White

Nah, we won't need goal difference, we just need to win our games. United just aren't that good, they'll probably slip up before they play Chelsea, as well as losing that.

You're right; that sounds entitled.

As long as we have our rhythm back, the goals will come. As long as we're solid at the back and score consistently enough, our GD tally will build, rather than hammer a team 6-0 and the lose following games 2 or 3-1 or draw.

A few of us always could see what Taylor wanted and the team injuries didn't help the shape or balance of our games.

A few of us kept our heads when all others lost theirs.

Despite the scoreline and the fact that Ellie ne'er had a save to make, and indeed, IIRC, Leicester never got into our area in either half, I wouldn't say The Vixens were well-beaten - they were still running strongly, defending at the final whistle. GT made much in the programme of 'following the process', whatever that means, but I fancy the sideways, backwards passes are part of the 'process'! We created a fair bit without really taking any risks in the Leicester half, but couldn't get on the end of much of what we 'processed'!

And what constitutes a foul throw these days? Are players still required to keep both feet on the ground? If it's not changed then every Leicester throw in the first half on the West Stand side was a foul throw!

And it's high time the FA explained why we only have one ball during match time. Why do the players and crowd have to act as 'ball-retrievers'? If they want as favourable a comparison with men's football then these things should be identical. Wonder what Eddie would think if he had to walk across to the corner flag before he could take a goal kick?

We must be the only team in the top half of the table who dawdle so much. It's infuriating to see a player get a pass and instead of turning, moving the ball forward when it is the obvious thing to do, they pass the it back to the person who passed to them. If Alana didn't keep tapping the ball to see if it was Christmas tree decoration about to shatter, but passed it to the player she eventually gives it to we'd have another fifteen minutes of playing time. Mind, she's not the only one. I wonder if there is a sweepstake inside the changing room for each match where the pool is scooped by the player who returns the most passes.
