In still scratching my head.

I understand the wage caps and everything. Yet I was under the impression the hierarchy are treating both sides equally.

If that was the case why aren't we looking at the best female coaches in the world and using our scouting system to develop the talent with them.

Not even an apology from the club for West Ham game being moved so we couldn't enjoy both spectacles today.

I know it was Sky who made that decision but they could have gone on record stating the broadcasters hypocrisy of supporting the women's game.
The club should go all-out to get Jill Ellis.

She coached the US women's team to consecutive World Cup victories, and though she’s a naturalised American citizen, she was born in Pompey.

Her only downside is that she is a rag.

I think CFC have had the edge over all the other top teams in the FAWSL this season, and to win the Continental Cup, get to the FArce Cup final and manage a CL berth next season considering the early injury list has been a very good season. Given an injury free squad, other than the odd niggle, we should be challenging in every competition next season.

City will be far better next season I’m sure

Only have themselves to blame.
Shocking in the final third and finishing, 23 shots and only 4 hit the target.
Wont win the league until they get in more clinical finishers.
Chelsea 1 card in 17 fouls is laughably biased officiating though
Chelsea seemed to also fall over and roll about a lot not to mention lots with alleged cramp, usually when they were winning…

Well played everyone this afternoon. You did yourselves and Manchester much credit. However, it is time to take stock for next season. There is a nucleus of good, professional players who can take us to the very top but we need the person/s who is/are responsible for next season’s squad to do much better than of late in their choices of who stays and who comes in.
More importantly, the top people at City need to be brave and appoint a new experienced Women,s football Manager for the next few seasons because only this will be enough to save the club from languishing just behind the top teams. The present Manager has not been a disaster but equally, he does not possess the skills or the drive to put City at the very top of the pile
