Oh and Jill Scott should still be playing regularly.
Jill is the female equivalent of Fernandinho in that age has sadly caught up to her and while there will still be moments of magic she won't be able to do it week-in, week-out. While I loved her burst through the lines to set up Bunny's hat-trick goal she did seem to leave her feet diving into tackles at the back a few times. Not ideal if playing against better opposition albeit as a tempory defensive stopgap.Oh and Jill Scott should still be playing regularly.
With everyone fit she wouldn't be playing there, she's still a good player imho, and in the woman's game speed is less important than in the men's.Jill is the female equivalent of Fernandinho in that age has sadly caught up to her and while there will still be moments of magic she won't be able to do it week-in, week-out. Better players would have 'done' her on a couple of occasions and if yer have to go down it smacks of 'last ditch' and the path to goal was wide open. But when you consider that everyone in the back line was either makeshift or out of position they played very well!Jill is the female equivalent of Fernandinho in that age has sadly caught up to her and while there will still be moments of magic she won't be able to do it week-in, week-out. It'd be easier to list those that aren'tDoes anybody have an update on all the injured players?
We were beaten by Spurs so Jill Scott deserves a run of games. We could do with a few more players committing themselves to the tackle.Jill is the female equivalent of Fernandinho in that age has sadly caught up to her and while there will still be moments of magic she won't be able to do it week-in, week-out. Yeah, I'm often left thinking with some of the women "Why didn't yer get yer foot into that?" Some of them seem to think that a tackle simply comprises getting yer body into an area where the ball is in close proximity, and that's enough! Most of the women's teams that stump up at The Academy Stadium don't shirk getting their feet into the job!We were beaten by Spurs so Jill Scott deserves a run of games. Angeldahl would appear to be ok, then. I reckon, a back four of Stokes, Greenwood, Kennedy and Beckie, midfield of Scott, Weir, Angeldahl and Stanway , and then a trio of Cruyff-type free scoring forwards!Taylor has confirmed that Losada is an injury doubt for the West Ham game tomorrow. Stokes trained though so that's a positive and we also get Kennedy & Mace back into the squad who were ineligible for the cup match.
Roebuck has apparently suffered a minor setback and no timescale given for her return and Houghton has had the medical boot removed but is still on crutches. No info given in the injury update for anyone else.

I was thinking that Keira might start on the bench and come on later. She looked good on Wednesday for the half hour but seemed a little tentative.Walsh?
