Good win Blues. We were more clinical tonight, given we didn’t create lots of clear cut chances.

Achieved the bare minimum in that game but it'll have to do. A few really good opportunities wasted by not making the final pass just a little quicker. Seemed to run into the box just a bit too far and ended up too close to make a pass where the ball could be hit first time.

They were unfortunately just that for a huge portion of this match. A good 30-40 minutes wasted. If it comes down to goal difference at the end of the season this will be the match that could come back to haunt us.

I agree with that. At least in the second half we stopped that passing around our own area. Every time we attacked it looked like a chance could be created so no idea why City sometimes play as if they are facing Brazil 1970.
Also, Shaw looked a lot better than White despite it being a short cameo.
Should play Blakstad at left back and Shaw up front and go for as many as possible v Birmingham next game

We’ve won 4 nil and taken back two thirds of the gap in goal difference with the rags. They’ve got Chelsea to play too.

Everton defended pretty well for most of the game so I’m happy with the 4 nil.

That's their last game of the season so who knows if Chelsea will have anything to play for by then. Maybe guaranteed 2nd place and put out a reserve team. I'm atually not bothered it was "only" 4-0 as the team have been playing a lot of games recently so might be better to have not over-exerted themselves tonight. So a comfortable win and no injuries is just the job.

And that's what it could have been. It took EFC 36 mins to get into our penalty area on Sunday. Tonight they were ten times quicker - it took them just over 3 mins! And at 2-0 I was beginning to think the curse of the two goal lead was gonna kick in. We miss some good chances and it doesn't seem to register with the players, which in a sense is a good thing. Anyone see the match and think Georgia was blatantly tripped in the area? Right in front of me and I thought it was a stoner.

I was working, and having a major IT issue, so missed a lot of the game, but I saw that, and couldn't understand why it was not a penalty, no replay on faplayer either.

I'll worry about the goal difference if we don't batter Birmingham and Leicester. Now only 2 goals in it. The ragettes will more than likely have to play Chelsea away chasing the league title. I suspect thay'll get twatted. I expect us to win every league game left and may pinch the CL spot on the last day on points. Remarkable considering where we were. That and a potential Cup double would be very satisfactory. We have every chance having seen us play against Arsenal and Chelsea recently and be every bit as good as both.

Yes it was a pen for me.

I thought we were pretty clinical for once and didn’t miss many chances.

Enjoyable game last night, for the most part I thought we were fairly forward thinking in our play. Would still like to see a few more trying to shoot at times it does feel like they prefer to pass than shoot. Also thought that when we lost the ball they worked hard to win it back. Coombs took her shoot well, good to see players come off the bench and score. Trams, or lack of them, were a pain in the backside, not just the Ashton line but the Bury line also down. Transport system is a complete mess.

It was a great first time strike. The last few games I have been too, people are shouting 'shoot' almost as soon as we cross the half way line. I suspect the rest of the players were thinking 'ah that's what happens when you don't faff about'. I too would like to see a little more of Coombs, and I have to say Beckie.

Disappointed I won't be trotting off to the academy stadium today. Was looking forward to watching and sitting in the sun cheering the team on to another victory. I will feel mightily aggrieved if the rearranged fixture is on a day I am in work. Hope the Birmingham team are all ok anyway.
