Not a big follower but have been watching more this season.

Early season Taylor was getting hammered on here due to our poor start.

But as I understand it didnt City have about 12 first timers out injured.
Perhaps I am wrong but he seems to be doing ok once the players started coming back from injury.
Yes we were racked by injuries that ruined our first half of the season. We’ve been transformed since the first teamers have returned to the side.

I think other key factors have been Taylor and the women playing a more go forward style of play and the defensive partnership between Kennedy and Greenwood blossoming.

Arsenal were extremely fortunate to beat Chelsea 3:2 in the first match of the season. If VAR had been in use Chelsea would have won 2:1. Chelsea have also been without Fran Kirby for weeks.
As long as we beat them in the FA Cup final.

The gap between Chelsea and everyone else in the league is rather stark. But oddly enough they’d get steamrolled by Barcelona and Lyon.
Think its like PSG and the CL. Bar Chelsea, Arsenal and Us and to a lesser extent Rags, there is almost no competition in this league as you would expect clubs to win all other games plus non UK teams dont have the salary/spend cap thats in place over here

It’s one of the few situations where I think we’d benefit from a European Super League and the womens game would gain huge interest. Unfortunately, it would be detrimental to rest of the those lower down the leagues.
