Scott was class. Bardsley deserves an honourable mention too - couple of excellent saves in the first half or Norway could have been out of sight, and commanded her box admirably.

Enjoyed it. Usual bores that continue to turn there nose up at women's football is getting tedious - the standard is very good .. Perhaps defence/goalie especially from set plays is where women's football struggle. But even so, there are some really talented players in the game.

What's impressed me the most is seeing some serious full-blooded tackles after which players jump straight back on their feet and carry on playing. After this the premier league's at risk of looking ridiculous when the so-called "men" start rolling around crying next season at the merest brush against their legs from an opponent's shoelace.

Can't understand why Scott has not started the last two games, particularly against a big physical Norway side. She made a big difference tonight. Overall a great win for England women against a good Norway side who were the better team for more than half the game. To come back from 0-1 to win (both goals from City players Steph Houghton and Lucy Bronze!) showed great character. Great sportsmanship by Norway at the end.
