If they hadn't missed an open goal in extra time she wouldn't have had to take it. Pity as France were very much on top at the time.
 
France should have won easily but messed it up big time. Not rated the selections and tactics throughout the tournament. Today they dropped Laura Boulleau who for me along with Caitlin Foord has been one of the best defenders in the tournament, I assume she was dropped as she was kitted up on the bench. Made an awful substitution which allowed Germany back in the game then made two more substitutions to try and get back to where they were in the first place resulting in possibly 2 if not 3 first choice penalty takers not been on the pitch. Then capped it all by putting one of the youngest most inexperienced players in the team on the 5th penalty.
I backed France to win the tournament (along with each way bets on Norway and Australia) so I'm not best pleased at the moment. Just had a bet on England at 3-1 to beat Canada tomorrow as the Canadians looked awful against Holland and should have been down to nine or eight players with a stronger referee.

Her husband is. Should be fun tomorrow, house full of Canadians to watch the match, hope they understand it's not over 3 periods and they won't be seeing a zamboni at any time.
 
Strangely,I wasn't that bothered till Jill Scott ignored the abuse from the locals. and wasted time near the corner flag against Norway. Now I feel that she's one of us, and if you kick her, then I limp.
