Well she stood on her boot so there was contact and it doesn't matter if the ref made an honest mistake a none penalty is a none penalty and they shouldn't have had their penalty if the officials could do their job so just call it a draw and get on with it.

Exactly she got stood on and that caused her to lose control of both her legs and throw her arms up in the air. Happened to me when someone stepped on my foot today in work.

No it really isn't. Referees will make mistakes, that's part of football and you just have to accept it, but trying to con the referee into making mistakes is completely different. I honestly hate how diving has become acceptable and I will never condone it, no matter whether it's the team I want to win or not. Also, whoever invented the line "well there was contact, so they've every right to go down" should be taken out back and shot.

I'm with you, especially as it was Michael Owen first started the stuff about 'feeling contact' and going down.

I think she edges even Ali Krieger, who has been great as well. Bronze is fast and smooth with the ball. Her 2 goals weren't bad either!

Yeah, Krieger is 30 now and I think Bronze edges her at this point. She'll get better too. Met her a couple of times when she was over here at Chapel Hill. Seemed nice.

I hate diving too but if you've been hard done by previously you're allowed one, in my eyes

all the women keepers have looked poor, I don't know why they don't play with nets 10/20% smaller, women golfers play off ladies tees and women cricketers have smaller boundaries.

There are a few good ones. The US, German, and Canadian keepers are good.

I agree though that they should reduce the size of the goal a bit.
