woodhead and snake pass

From the BBC Manchester traffic news website:

A628 Woodhead Pass Langsett
both ways between A616 and A57 Woolley Lane closed affecting all driving lanes
A628 South Yorkshire - Woodhead Pass closed due to snow between Flouch roundabout and A57 Woolley Lane , in Langsett. Diversion in operation - use the M1 and M62 for cross Pennine travel

And as I drove to Manchester Airport first thing this morning (5.55 am) they mentioned that the Snake Pass was closed. But I cannot find a statement about that. Sorry.

there is no chance of the snake pass opening in any days soon.The woodhead pass a128 has been opened then closed for the last few days.

i was in glossop over the weekend there is a foot of snow there in the valley, so up on snake and woodhead i'm guessing is impassable
