Woolwich killing

Each and everyone one of these ***** should be prosecuted within the full power of the law. If a law doesn't exist for inciting this kind of religious/rascial hatred the government should pass one in parliament and take retrospective action against the them.

As today is a very very sad day and those evil twisted bastards in the above picture have finally got exactly what they wanted.

R.I.P. The poor sod that was murdered today in London. I don't even know the poor guys name, fucking hell.

Didn't some of them get prosecuted? I know those who burned the poppies did.

Unfortunately there is the grey area of 'free speech' even when somethings people say can be very offensive.

One guy sounds like he was born and bred in London though so where do you want to send him and why would another country be expected to take our problems off us.

And I'd rather we stop these incidents before they occur. So education and more money into the police for intelligence. At the end of the day though one or two nutjobs of any background can slip the net and end up doing something horrific. That will never change.
I want to send him where he wants to go, where he has 46 virgins (but the muslim women don't have that choice).
Neither do kids in Oxford!

On this point, "woz" is unfortunately correct. When I used to grace the velvet seats of oxford's smoking rooms, the women were far too "open minded" to wear white on their wedding day. One particular earls daughter had the endearing reputation of being something of a goer. Her name was Penelope. We called her Penny farthing.

I do hope so. The thought of the organic Gruyère being contaminated is too much for me to bear.

Personally I cannot laugh at cartoons about people with poor personal hygiene. That Disney always insisted on Mickey Mouse having clean fingernails should give us pause for thought.

evolve a bit more? If "evolving" consists of standing by while a fucked up part of a generally very good religion, insists on blowing innocent British people up and we stand by and do nothing about it, then i would rather not "evolve".

Also, you may want to check the meaning of the word evolve in the dictionary. It mean adapting and to get better over time. How is this situation doing any of that? It's going backwards if anything.

Rick, I don't mean to be patronising, but I can tell that your comments are fueled by anger, rather than the idiocy of others in this thread.

You are right that most Muslims don't commit acts like this. Muslims for peace in the us, for example, contributed 11,000 pints of blood to victims of an attack.

The thing is, our security services are trying to do just that. They are trying to find those who would commit acts like this, and are trying to prevent these terrible scenes.

After the Boston bombings, a security analyst commented that it is easier to track those with associations to established terror groups, but almost impossible to track individual lunatics. This makes sense, because their communication is much less, their collective conversations are reduced to say two individuals, and there is no opportunity to utilise resources or infiltrate "cells".

The problem with taking the stance of "kick em out" is that it creates hostility. Suddenly every Muslim could be looked on with suspicion, brought in for questioning etc. This hostility breeds contempt and rather than solve an issue could in fact create more hatred.

This is why the key always has to lie with positive action. Not because I'm a leftie or I am human rights crazy, but because I love being British, I love living in England and I want this to be a place where everyone can live alongside one another.

Not create numerous siege mentalities, whip up more hatred, and fail to tackle the problem at a grass root level.

Firstly I would like to say thank you for at least trying to understand my points. Yes to a certain extent they are fuelled by anger, who wouldn't be angered by today's scenes? After reading what you said about how things are trying to be figured out and how as a multi cultural society to just try to move on, in principle it does work. But the reality of it, is that it isn't working. Thankfully we have t returned to the scenes that hit many towns and cities across northern Britain with the "race riots", but I feel that there is a stronger multi cultural devide now, than back then. Years, and even decades down the line this approach you mention clearly isn't working. Yet another terrorist attack today proves this, thankfully it was only one innocent man killed today, not a bus or tube train filled with innocent commuters, or people in a Glasgow airport going on holiday who were attacked. I just don't see an end to this, without radical extremists big removed/cultured into something different.

Ahhh I was waiting for the multi culture is not working line even though mixed race people are the fastest growing population in the country. Even though curries and Chinese food are the highest selling foods. Even though urban music is the highest grossing and the teens and younger define themselves as people not colours it is not working. All because a black nutter (I am black too) with help from his friend murdered someone. Multi culture as a whole has failed. What world do you live in you surely do not travel much as your ideology is so warped its embarrassing. Either you are very old or very sheltered surrounded by like minded people or maybe both.

Have a good night and your view of the world and this country is just that. You were right you are in the minority not whites but simple minded racists who are clueless to reality.
