Stone island. Check.
Balaclavas. Check. (The irony)
No surrender chants. Check.

The EDL are in town.

The guy with the cleavers had a stone island hat on.

Anyway those comparing this to the Bird case in Cumbria and asking why that wasn't a terrorist attack might find this definition of terrorism might explain why

"…acts of persons acting on behalf of, or in connection with, any organisation which carries out activities directed towards the overthrowing or influencing, by force or violence, of Her Majesty’s government in the United Kingdom or any other government de jure or de facto."
And why was this a terrorist attack? What organisation were they acting on behalf of or in connection with?

Premature, to say the least, to call this a terrorist attack. At the moment, all that can be said is that they are seemingly Islamic nutjobs, driven by hatred.

Re: Woolich killing

BBC Newsnight say one is Nigerian and the other was stopped by the police last year en route to Somalia..........

Hacked to death with knives in the middle of the day. Terrible, thoughts to his family. It seems that Islam in the UK has a very bad Virus.

Yep and it is called 'islam'

They are in balaclavas because of how they will rightly or wrongly be labeled.
A little different to the reasons for the hijab and burkha

In the "speech" to the camera he was saying get the troops out etc. So, the attack had political motives, which i think makes it a terrorist attack.
I could be, and probably am, wrong though

Don't want to argue but Hijab, Niqab and Burka are not signs of extremism or oppression.

Re: Woolich killing

The EDL are as disaffected as the killers

Yet I don't hear calling killers in the name of a cause aloud to be called scum

Why are we being so soft on here?

What did you expect people to sit back and take it
Tell me how bottling police is solving anything ...
It might take the sting out of it.

Please, you're just starting arguments. Everyone here gets it, you don't like Islam.

Can the thread just be to post condolences etc, without descending into another slagging match.
