I thought it was Mr Gummidges Christian name. What the fuck is all this wordle shit about
The fake guess does actually have to be a real word though. Here's a tip.
If your missing one letter to your word, but it can be one of many letters, sacrifice your guess by making a word using those potential letters (assuming you have the room for a fake guess).
That’s a late come back.Wordle 226 4/6

True, should have said that. The fake guess does actually have to be a real word though.
Worlds mad! Someone needs to make a daily hangman version, just remember me when you sell it on to some corporate company for a small 7 figure sum.![]()

Bought for a 7 figure fee. Good for the guy who made it.
Will "initially" remain free.

I start with the 5 most common letters in words AROSEI start off with not so common words - AXIOM, FLUTE etc. Might get lucky.

I try and mix it up a bit. Usually go with a th or sh word (like thing or shine) and then a second hitting the vowels i dind't get in the first.I start with the 5 most common letters in words AROSE

Most (but certainly not all) of the time the 5 and 6 guesses are when it's something like FIGHT, NIGHT, MIGHT, SIGHT, LIGHT, BIGHT , and i'd got as far as _IGHT on the 3rd guess - so far, been lucky not run out of guesses on those ones.
There's no better feeling than when you get in on the last guess, when everything depends on your wit and on your luck..
who wants to get it on their 1st guess? That would be annoying. 2nd would be alright I suppose but 3rd and 4th are meaningless.
So with that in mind, I like to start with a word like yummy, or mummy, or booby, something like that, or fluff.
