I start with the 5 most common letters in words AROSE

Most (but certainly not all) of the time the 5 and 6 guesses are when it's something like FIGHT, NIGHT, MIGHT, SIGHT, LIGHT, BIGHT , and i'd got as far as _IGHT on the 3rd guess - so far, been lucky not run out of guesses on those ones.

I mentioned in my tip but what you do with the _IGHT where you can have like 6 letters is make a word using those initial letters.

I used the word gnarl for example in that case, which would clear 3 words at once. There might be a better word in that case, but it was off the top of my head.

That’s funny that adieu is ranked low, that’s my starter word simply because it uses 4 vowels, the rest all use 3.

Yeah I had used it a few times before I saw how poor it actually is at getting the word in the fewest guesses possible.

I've used it every day, including today, will find it hard to change now as I've been successful so far, although mostly on the 4th go (10 times), followed by 3 goes (8times).

I use BREAD then LUCKY. After that I'm either on to something or I'm fucked.

I prefer sudoku anyway as a time waster app
