Words that have gone out of fashion

Co-respondent's shoes. (I was in a pub in Harrogate with the mrs when a gent of a certain age came in, shod in brown and cream shoes. I said to her "Look, co-respondent's shoes!" But she'd never heard the expression. It refers to footwear worn by men of dubious morals.) Given in the OED as "dated".

Likewise "brothel-creepers", for big, thick-soled but silently-treading shoes.

And why do people now say "train station" instead of "railway station"?

"Typewriter" rarely gets an outing.
Calling someone a "Joey" (as in "yer fuckin' joey" and "spacker" have been consigned to history.
Also there was a poster campaign selling 34years or something. Not seen that for a while now...

My gran (from Newton Heath) used to say “I’m jiggered” = “I’m tired out”
My mum used the expression “He’s got ten bob on himself” (or the female version) when referring to someone who thought a lot themselves.
I’ve not heard (or got a whiff) of a ‘stinkbomb’ for years.
