Words you hate?

My daughter has the massively annoying habit of saying "so I turned around and said to" (her/him/them or who ever it was she was banging on about) when she's describing a conversation or more likely an argument she's had with someone. Drives me to bloody despair.
 
C**t.

Seems to be the word of choice for lots of posters on here. Found particularly jarring when used by posters recent to describe someone in potential rape case. The use of the most violent offensive swear word to describe someone who has allegedly abused that very part of a woman’s body I found really unpleasant and completely needless tbh.
I absolutely love that word.
The offensive way it is used in Game of Thrones is excellent.
 
Pastiche and post-modern.

No one has ever used those words with out sounding pretentious.

You never know, that group of mates might all turn and face the other way when they’re talking to each other.
 
Physicality.

It's a made up word. Made up by some idiot in football and now said by everyone. (Apart from me)
