Amazing burn up over that last 600m of the men's 10km.

Agonising for Grant Fisher to miss out like that.

Cheptegei was too good, as were Mburu and Kiplimo.

Real shame for Dina last night, runs a British record and it was only good enough for 4th, that's brutal but the quality of the field was top drawer.

I thought Josh Kerr was impressive in the men's 1500m.

Other Athletes to Watch
- Thiem looks set to take the heptathlon title.
- 100m champion Fred Kerley goes in heat 5 of the 200m. Although Noah Lyles in Heat 7 looks the favourite to win it overall.
- Valerie Allman is the class of the field in the discus and she should easily qualify.
- Barshim, Tamberi, Harrison, McEwen and Woo will be competing for the medals in the high jump.
- 100m medalists; Jackson, Thompson-Herah and Fraser-Pryce will be looking to try and sweep this event as well. It's actually the lesser well known Jamaican, Shericka Jackson, that looks the one to beat after winning the Jamaican championships with the 3rd fastest time of all time. Steiner has ran fast for the USA this year and Asher-Smith looked pissed off not to medal in the 100m, she won't want to give up her title here that easily.
- Yulimar Rojas set the triple jump world record this year, she'll be too good for everyone else.
- El Bakkali and Girma will be scrapping for gold in the steeplechase.
- The women's 1500m will be one of the races of the championship. Kipyegon, Tsegay, Hailu, Meshesha and Muir will be scrapping for the medals.

Just watched that 1500m, phenomenal from Kipyegon, Tsegay and Muir, they just ran away from everyone.

Well done to Muir though, dug deep and nearly another British record, our first medal.

Hopefully Asher-Smith, Kerr and Hodgkinson can follow suit.

Other Athletes to Watch
- McLaughlin, Muhammad and Bol should be a great watch in the hurdles, all should qualify.
- A big chance of a Ukraine gold in the high jump with Yaroslava Mahuchikh being the class of the field.
- Fraser-Pryce, Thompson-Herah, Jackson, Steiner, Clark and Asher-Smith all attempt to make the final.
- Ceh and Stahl will battle for gold in the discus.
- Lyles, Kerley, Knighton all look strong for the USA in the 200m. Lyles the one to beat.
- All eyes on Ingebrightsen in the 1500m, he looks set to add to his Olympic gold. Kerr has a real chance to add to his medal. Wightman could be in with a shout. I expect Kipsang to be strong though.
- Benjamin, Warholm, Dos Santos, probably going to be the race of the championships
