Davinson Sanchez looks miles out of his depth at this level.

They've been down to 10 since the 5th minute. Don't blame them to be honest.
Deservedly down to 10 men though, it wasn't an incorrect decision.
If anything Japan should feel hard done by:
- One of Colombia's players cheats to keep the ball out, which they then could have missed the penalty.
- Then one of Colombia's players cheats and throws himself to the ground to win a free kick which they score from.
I never suggested that it was an incorrect decision or that they were hard done by. I said I don't blame them for trying to get a few decisions in their favour.
Not sure how Japan should feel aggrieved about the first one. They got the penalty and a player sent off. Surely that's better than a goal and playing against 11.
I agree, I don't think Japan would have been aggrieved. Just pointing out that Colombia built a rod for their own back and are now using that to justify their cheating/playacting.
That said Colombia are the better side, just pissing me off the way they're going about it.

Would have gotten a free-kick prior to the penalty/red card award for the offence of 'dispossessing a spurs player' if it was in the PL. Spurs wouldn't have had that penalty awarded against them either.I thought that in the PL!
