Tough draw for the US of A. Doubt we will make it out if that group. Anyone know what the odds are of the USA getting out of that group??

Why would the England V Italy game be changed???

They were hoping the only game to kick off at 2am UK/European time would be a game between Algeria and Russia, instead it's a blockbuster fixture and the suits at FIFA don't like it because they think it means less £££ which I think is nonsense.

Personally think it's a brilliant game. Lets be honest we will always remember watching England Vs. Italy played in the Amazon rainforest at 2AM, it's games like that that will be talked about in 40-50 years! No need to tamper with it.

A little look at my calendar and its on a Saturday aswell. 2am in the pub watching England's opening game of the World Cup vs Italy. Couldn't get any better for me, apart from actually being there.

I think you have a far greater chance of finishing bottom than making it out.

Tough to argue with that!! Wonder what the odds are to progress and to finish bottom???

South Africa is an even more violent place than Brazil. For years we heard horror stories about what might happen to visiting fans. Nothing happened. It will be the same in Brazil.

Same at the Euros a couple of summers ago in Poland and Ukraine.

Nothing happened, but it didn't stop the BBC from airing super critical programmes before the tournament started.

I'm expecting the same from them this coming spring.
