Italy looking down the barrel if they lose here. They could be heading at an early exit. Using my admittedly iffy maths skills,

Costa Rica beat or draw with England = They'll have at least 7 points.
Uruguay beat Italy (not at all impossible) = 6 points for Uruguay, only 3 for Italy.

I think Italy will beat Uruguay. So Costa Rica and Italy through.

Hopefully Italy have done us a favour in losing.... maybe now the FA and the Govt. Will invest some serious cash in the grassroots game?
