Very true. The ref was forced to give it. I seriously doubt he would have given it otherwise.

I don't think he would have, even though it was clearly a goal even without the goal line camera.

I think it would have solidified how corrupt the sport is to many more neutral fans if that had happened, too. A stonewall penalty ignored and a legitimate goal disallowed in addition to many other very questionable decisions.
