World Cup thread - Sunday 15th June

Not a great match by any means. Hopefully the Argies will grow into the competition. They have brilliant players but show few signs of being a brilliant team.

What a terrible ball! Was a decent second half in the end. Argentina will have to improve I imagine. Bosnia looked well organized and will probably get through to the knock outs.

shame for Serg, desperately needs a goal.

Of course he would like to score. To say he desperately needs to is over egging it somewhat.

He hasn't turned into Torres.

no, of course not, but look at Messi, became a completely different player with the relief and confidence of scoring.

Kun is a completely different beast with that confidence flowing through him, he's just a yard off without it.

Poor touch by Messi, shoulda killed it there.

Di Maria has been shite with his final ball all game.

DIsagree on both points, and I especially think di Maria had a great game.

Argentina much better after the break when they switched to 4-4-2. Zabaleta criminally ignored. He made some brilliant runs in behind and they ignored him and turned inside. He stopped making the runs after the 65th minute.

I don't think Messi played any different either side of his goal. Aguero knows he is world class and you do him a disservice imo.

Miles better 2nd half from Argentina. They'll destroy Nigeria and Iran with that 2nd half formation.
