Not a great match by any means. Hopefully the Argies will grow into the competition. They have brilliant players but show few signs of being a brilliant team.

if the play like that i bet my ass the first strong team they meet the will crach out

those in front doesn't track back at all

messi want to be the super hero, at end he was well kept today despite his goal

having a mid with rodriguez and gago

add to that Rojo and Romero who is not even starter in Monaco

so Argentina has its limits and today Bosnia wasted many opportunities

So many good positions wasted by Bosnia in the last few minutes. Shocking.

Yes, you feel like they were happy with results or no legs it was another team it could have fighted, only thing was needed if a good cross for Dzeko

for that they needed Navas kolarov :)

I'd take this before the match but not now. They were there for taking, at least a point. Our attack, our very potent attack and best part of the team was shit tonight, defense much better. Dzeko shit.

The most worrying thing is that we could barely walk last 20 minutes when we were supposed to make a pressure.

Bosnia were OK, not great going forward though. As has been said they wasted loads of potential opportunities through poor crosses or decision making. Hopefully they will get through the group though.

I think Argentina will grow into the tournament and I still think either them or Brazil will win it.

It wasn't just the poor crosses but they had so many chances to get it wide to the full backs early but either shot from a stupid angle or just held the ball too long and lost it. The less said about the last cross the better.

The guy on last possession (Bicakcic) is not a full-back...been CB all his life - it was circumstantial (I did not expect him to actuall send a good cross in)

For those rambling about Bosnia's attack (with a reason, I must say): Bosnia 2 games before the WC switched from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1.

This means we now depend on ball possession and wing play much more - which against deadly Argentina counter had to be conservative...

Our next two opponents though - I expect us to go back to our old means of just outscoring the fuc*ers.

I sometimes wonder why so few of our players are actually at the WC. And for the ones who are there, so far it has not been a shiny one.
With only Komps left to play his first game tomorrow, the score for the City-players has been pretty dismal imo:
Fernandinho didn't play.
Silva was substituted with Spain being thrashed.
Hart was ok with just one hesitation just before half time that reminded me about early season 'form'.
Milner didn't play.
Yaya mediocre.
Zabaleta -ofcourse- did well.
Aguero was as poor as Argentina.
Demichelis didn't play.
Dzeko was poor, maybe mediocre.

If it continues like this Pellegrini don't need to worry to get back players who are exhausted. He will have to work on selfconfidence I'm afriad.
Still early days.
