I dont want the euphoria of a last minute goal taken away whilst we sit and wait for VAR to have a look if there was anything intoward in the build up

Don't forget we are in the "premier" league, with Premier Refs who get to sit on the var panel as well.

Iran were awarded a penalty for a non-deliberate handball whilst no pen was awarded to Nigeria for virtually the same offence after both had been referred.

That's before we even start talking about the pens which weren't given to England in the Tunisia game whilst the same offence was punished in the Panama game.

It should have been far more accurate before it was introduced at a World Cup.

The Serbia non penalty was the most shocking in terms of the obvious error of the decision and impact on the teams (Serbia would have probably gone in today having already qualified)

But the point still stands, that ultimately its human beings - the same Refs who usually officiate games on the field - getting to decide. The same ones who couldn't muster a single official good enough for the world Cup.

The VAR reviews are adding more to the euthoria, the eruption when the Korea goal was given today was amazing and its sickening to think that would otherwise have not been given - a totally good goal, ruled out.
