Worry

I worry about money and lack of it at times but realise I'm fortunate to have a good job with lots of career progression and when the mrs gets back to work when the littlest one is starting nursery that I won't have those worries anymore

May even buy my first house in a few years. Something we never thought possible 2 years ago

It's not a worry but more of a serious concern. Mum's got dementia and whilst she's in fine health and we have a great laugh with her, dementia is something that wont cure,up till now, and will only get worse. I look after her finances and medical affairs as my sister lives in St Lucia and we moved from Spain to be here for her. Sometimes I feel guilty at sorting her finances out as she trusts totally but is always telling me It'll be yours soon. Other things ,as with BBB, I've no doubt the time will come to put her in a home, unless she does the decent thing and go when she is at home.
Other little things like the new business taking off, niggles with the Mrs, old age, etc etc.
An Irish ex girl friend of mine from years ago once told me.... If I worry I die, if you don't worry, you die anyway.....So I don't worry any more ,I just take what's coming and deal with it.

Seriously:-

Everyone has worries of some sort or another, there's just different degrees.....one person might be worrying about what dress to wear for the Christmas office party, the other worrying about the triple heart bypass surgery their child is going to undertake tomorrow.

Firstly, under no circumstances bottle your worries up and keep them to yourself, big mistake......talk to anybody that will listen, even posters on here, and that includes Drone and Nimrod...:)

Secondly, if you have to worry, worry about things that have happened or will happen, not what MIGHT happen.

Thirdly, remember there is always someone worse of than yourself.......depression/anxiety is terrible, but it usually does pass...in time.....This might hopefully be useful:-

Thanks for putting this on. Very interesting film and certainly makes you think.

Many years ago I worked with an older lady that said if you threw all your worries in the air you wouldn't want to catch any but your own.

I'm worried about my mum, have to find a residential home for her. Im worried that I have to empty her house by 12th dec. my daughter has taken mums cat to her house and he's gone out, worried about that now :(

I worry about money all the time

Wouldn't want TINY'S worries - sounds like he's having a bad time.

Chabal is having a crisis too, am in the same place there

We all have worries - what are you worrying about?

The only thing that's worth worrying about is how long we're gonna have to wait for the first goal on Saturday.

finding a residential home for mum is proving a nightmare - they are all horrid places full of old silent asleep people :(

and i now have to find a skip company because there is just too much stuff in her house to keep going backwards and forwards to the skip.

YEs! and I will be worried until we are at least 2 goals ahead on sat

Ring up a house clearance firm or 2nd hand shop, they will clear the house and give you some money for anything they can sell on

Burn the house down and claim off the insurance.
