Worst away trip.....

Whats the worst away trip anyone had,(excluding this bloody season !),and not just result affected ??
Mines going to Gillingham in the league,(fucking miles away that place),and our bus breaking down just as we arrived.
Thankfully we did win the game,but christ the bus could only do 50mph when they eventually got it going, on way back home,it took bleeding ages.

Fulham away a few years back, got to the ground late after walking through london due to the crazy traffic. We were 3-0 down when I got into the ground, not the best trip Ive ever done!!!

Must admit thats quite high on my list as well,great crack in Fernhurst before game,everyone half cut,then the football spoiled the day...AGAIN !!!

Norwich away - midweek. Nil all. The person driving was falling asleep at the wheel. Feared for my life.

Any away trip where the match was called off late. Brentford in the FA Cup (early 90s?), Spurs in the League (mid 90s) spring to mind. Nothing worse than a completely pointless long journey.

birmingham last season fooking coach broke down and then we didnt get to the ground until 25 past 3 only to see us lose 3-1! :(

Sunderland away in 1990/91, 1-1. I had a painful ingrowing toe nail, I was stood on my own in the rain while everybody else I had gone with had jibbed a seat ticket. David White headed home and as I jumped around, somebody stood on my bad toe - ouch
