That game would be in my BEST away game mate !!! Water canons in the streets,fighting in the stands,everyone running all over railway tracks to get back on station..won the game,good drink..nah that was a great away game for me

Was the best awat trip, just probably the worst away game, because I didnt see fook all. Also was in the middle of it asll kicking off. Them belguim faries, they think because they make good chocolate they can fight aswell

Away at Reading a couple of seasons ago. Was a Monday night and I was working in Northampton so decided ot go down instead of watching it in the pub.
Set off in good time but there was a horrendous traffic jam coming off the M4 and was stuck for nearly two hours. Got there late and couldn't park and was 25 minutes late into the match, missing Reading's goal. It was a shit match, we lost and Corradi got sent off.
Coming out the traffic was at a standstill anyway and to make things even worse, the police were escorting a large load past the ground. Drove back and there were loads of roadworks on the motorways with the M40 being shut near Oxford. Had to come off, got lost and ended up getting home at about 1:30 in the morning.

I've not seen us win away since Sheff U New Years Day 2002, so a nice 7 year curse going on.
My worst has to be losing to WBA under Keegan. I'd been out clubbing 2 days solid, no sleep, and went down to the game feeling like death, with just my City shirt and no coat, and froze my bollocks off watching us getted dicked.
Derby away when they beat us 6-0 at the old Baseball Ground was a shocker too.
