Worst City Missed Penalty !!

Definately Alan Harper's against Leeds that he blasted over the bar........well i think it was Leeds....it could of been against Everton.

DD just beat me to it for the worst penalty ever scored. Steve Redmond at West Ham.

For me it was Mark Lillis in the FA Cup against Coventry some time in the mid 80s. The game was being shown live on TV and I think it ended 1-1 and we got stuffed in the replay.

I still haven't forgiven him for that.

The game was against Watford. It wasn't live on TV either. :)

The worst missed penalty was definitely Alan Harper against Leeds in 1990. It nearly hit the roof of the North Stand.

The worst penalty actually went in. Steve Redmond away to West Ham. Fell flat on his back side, spooned it down the middle and it somehow bounced in.

Got to go with the Tony Coeman penalty miss against Reading in the 60s,if I remember rightly,Franny Lee placed the ball on the spot and as he was walking back to do his run up,Coleman ran past him and blasted it over the bar,the game ended 0-0,luckily we won the replay 7-0.

I was at that game cant remember the penalty miss though .saying that cant remember S F A about the game had to many lagers since then
