Worst City Missed Penalty !!

Really can't believe nobody has mentioned Barton's against Villa near the end of the 2006-7 season at home. Blazed it straight over the crossbar. Shocking penalty. Lost 3-0 too
 
have to mention denis tuart missing 3 times at turf moor sometime in the 70's i think tho my memory of dates is fast fading. missed two pens in 0-0 draw but one was taken twice and yep he missed again. sure one effort hit the post but not sure if keeper saved any or they went wide or over. does nobody else remember this game?
 
When Dickov hit both posts with his at Wembley, something deep inside me started screaming 'typical City' but fortunately we went on to win.
 
For me it was Mark Lillis in the FA Cup against Coventry some time in the mid 80s. The game was being shown live on TV and I think it ended 1-1 and we got stuffed in the replay.

I still haven't forgiven him for that.

Anyway, Uwe Rosler in about 98 maybe, West Ham at Home in the Cup, score was 1-1 at the time with about 5 mins left, Rosler blast the Pen over the Bra & West Ham go up the other end & Lomas gets the winner...
