worst city misses

Tevez v wolves away Mancini,s first game in charge...city break from defence with a superb counter atttack,,..carlos simply has to nudge it home..scuffs his shot, keeper saves. would have been goal of the seasonll..

It wasn't Mancini's first game but oh I remember that miss. Would have been the best goal we've ever scored.

Twas his first away game..would have been a cracking goal...some great one touch football on the break from de jong, bellamy and petrov who fed the ball through to tevez who had to score...but he fluffed it!

Reyna in the home game again Lokeren, if i remember rightly he chipped the keeper, open net, then skied it.

I was thinking of the Grozlin game - first 20 minutes we had about 50 chances and missed them all - I seem to remember Robbie Foulup was chiefly responsible.

And didn't the Elk have a sitter in the 3-1 derby that he should have put away but let Donald Pleasance save it?

Michael Hughes' last minute penalty against Everton. I think the ball landed in the Social Club.
There was also the largely forgotten Steve Mackenzie miss after rounding the Spurs keeper at Wembley. That would have been 2-0 and our whole history might have changed completely.

Ok.......point taken. It was a very dark club and I'd had far too many JD and Coke's!!!
