Worst money you’ve ever spent

Tesco is shite. A few months ago I popped in when passing and almost everything in the place was cheaper if you had a clubcard, so I thought fuck that I'm not paying more just because I haven't got one so I walked out. Recently I downloaded one on my phone. Next time I went in hardly anything was cheaper with the bloody card. Compared to Aldi everything was more expensive too. I don't see me shopping in there very often.
I remember M&S doing something similar a while ago. Brought all my stuff to the till and they told me the special offers were only for people that had the loyalty card. I left all of the stuff there, because they were all half price or BOGOF, and they weren't cheap. A couple of weeks later, I went back in and all of the deals were gone even for loyalty card customers. It was obviously just a push to get everyone to sign up for it.

200 quid leather jacket, thought I would look ace. I didnt. I looked a twat. Wore it twice then left it hanging gathering dust. Still in my old bedroom at mum and dad's now 25 years later.

Set of dumbells when I was 16. Didnt bother lifting the fuckers once.

Alex Ferguson Manager game on the PS1. First time I put it in, it went funny and scratched so never even played it. Serves me right.

I remember buying a paul and shark jumper in the 90's, was about £80 at the time when I was earning less than that a week doing evenings and weekends in a pub. It shrunk after a couple of washes. Ive never bought designer gear since.

Cars collectively over the years. Depreciation on newer ones and the cash thrown into money pits trying to keep bangers going

Bought an ex girlfriend of mine a £600 technics stereo for Christmas. About 2 weeks later she fucked off. I suspected that she was going off me after 5 yrs so it was a bit of a test to win her round. The woman kept it and bought me a CD as a parting gift. Also years after, another gullible moment paying to fly first class half price to Barbados one way. It was the wife’s idea. I could’ve bought myself a nice TV instead. Buying cars every couple of years has been the biggest regret I’ve had to put a stop on it. Should’ve kept my 2003 golf tdi. It’s been through my mates family since and has only ever needed an alternator and battery. I go through life and never learn.

Black and decker wood chipper that I could have put my arm in without fear of injury. It did manage to break my toe when I kicked it though. I took it to the tip 2 weeks after buying with a branch still sticking out of the top.

Other one was £60 for hospitality breakfast at the start of a stage of the Tour of Britain in Camberley in Surrey. The plan was to cycle there (about 35 miles), eat shitloads of hospitality breakfast, hobnob with a few cycling stars and then ride back at a leisurely pace. In reality we arrived a bit late, all the breakfast was gone and we got to hang about with then Education Secretary and Camberley MP Michael Gove. He’s taller than you think but every bit as oily as you imagine.

Also tickets for me and a mate to see City at Southampton in the Carabao this year. Yeah, that’s probably the winner.
