I was discussing this with a few of my mates today, after hearing about road privatisation, and potentially charging us for using certain roads, in addition to road tax.

Taking into account how much we are taxed etc already, the price of fuel, utility bills, having to sort your own pensions because the state can't afford to keep you when you retire etc.

Christ, the french were rioting over an extension to the retirement age of 2 years (i think).

Cameron & gordon brown admitted over 4 years ago, that for every £3 brought in, there is £4 going out, which is surely only getting worse.

Will us working people ever finally say enough is enough, or just keep getting kicked on the bollocks, and never do anything about it?

just interested to get other peoples thoughts?
 
You only have to read off topic to realise that most of the population lets the super soar-away Sun do it's thinking for them.
If people start to realise just how much they are getting shafted. The Sun will just find some more paedophiles or muslim terrorists to get angry at instead. I can see the headline now 'Paedophile Gypsy Suicide Bombers Shit On Dianna's Grave and Try To Blow Up School'

I wouldn't "revolt" as we have a process for change that doesn't include acting like toddlers at bed time.
 
Id love to see it come crashing down and we start again as government has failed. We are in a rut and only something major like that will wake us up.

The problem is we are all to apathetic. I would happily sign up to a concensus we need to tear it all down and retry.
As we are now we are just playing at life and developing a workable society.
