Would the UK ever "revolt"

Thats why they have guns, armies, tanks, police etc people have revolted throughout history and crushed. If it ever happened the same would happen. Governments are well aware of this all you have to do is look at other countries using their armies against their own people.

We have had a Civil War before, and if the situation is right I think it wouldn't be impossible again.
Not sure about that.

With my alopecia my hair would be right as a cavalier nor round head.

I'd have to emigrate.

Modern Government, as we know it here, was formed from Civil War.
The Monarch was all powerful until that point.
Countries can change very quickly.

What would we revolt against? Governments are fleeting, the reason we have the vote is to decide who we want in charge. It could change every few years if we wanted it to, with no bloodshed.
Absolutely.

And as has been mentioned, our quality of life and standard of living is fucking high in comparison with the vast majority of the world, plus they'd cancel the footy which would be shite.

Yes, but the modern government we have now is radically different from the reign of Charles The First.

True but 500 years may have helped.

You only have to read off topic to realise that most of the population lets the super soar-away Sun do it's thinking for them.
If people start to realise just how much they are getting shafted. The Sun will just find some more paedophiles or muslim terrorists to get angry at instead. I can see the headline now 'Paedophile Gypsy Suicide Bombers Shit On Dianna's Grave and Try To Blow Up School'
that last bits disgusting,i bet they were jobless as well!
