Apart from the odd o.g. he was and still is a stalwart. easily on a par with Lescott. It was Cooke who fired him off behind his back when he was off on international duty. His team mates texted him to let him know he was being hawked around different agents telling them he was for sale. Whether it was Hughes or Cooke doesnt matter, it was a shit house move from up top to our player of the year more than once.
