Would you consider McDonalds to be

tbh I like Macdoanlds. I dont eat it much, only use iot for energy food when got some grafting to do. Me and the mrs go get a meal when we have some decorating to do etc. Its full of energy.

I still dont know what is more unhealthy a weekly chippy night or a weekly maccyDs night.

Now I have three young kids, it's the only restaurant I ever get to go to! Even "cheap" pubs end up costing a fortune. The food is shite and you're hungry about 10 mins after eating it, but kids enjoy it as a treat every now and then and if you want a quick fix when travelling or because you can't be arsed to cook it does the job.

A bit of googling...

Average fish and chips

861 to 998 calories,
52.8g of fat,
30-43g of protein

McDonald's big mac meal large coke and fries

1360 calories
58g of fat,
12g of protein
Shit ton of salt.

Out of the two, fish and chips as long as they aren't smothered in salt and its lightly battered is the best option.

And fish and chips isn’t ultra processed. It’s real, basic food.

Plus by spending your hard earned at your local chippy you’re (usually) supporting an independent local family business, not some multi billion dollar mega corp.
