Would you go Red?

I remember when I played for my primary school football team back in the early 60s,I had a long sleeve heavy cotton shirt with maroon and light blue quarters (4 squares back and front) white cuffs and Collar with buttons on both, bit like roy of the rovers.

The only red that is acceptable to City is the rose and teamed with black for the away kit. Actually felt sorry for Cardiff fans when they had to go through their recent farce

Just "read" that a major company, Rakuten, offered to sponsor us in 2012 under the condition that we changed our colours to Red.
They have since signed a mega sponsorship deal with Barca today.

So, how would you feel if we would've gone red?
Or any other colour for that matter if say Carlsberg wanted to sponsor us and asked us to play in green :/

Luckily for us the offer was declined under those terms.

For me, it doesn't matter how much money was on the table, I would walk away from supporting City (under the current regime) if they decided to change our primary colour to Red.

And yes I am aware we have played in red (and black) historically.
Cardiff who are called the Bluebirds changed there colour to red and caused no end of mither and discontent

Mind, didn't Melbourne City have to change from red to bluefish? I seem to recall that the fans generally were not too happy.

I just can't see the faithful chanting from the terraces - C'mon you, er, Reds?
Red to white and blue and they kept the red for the away kit. They were less happy about the name change than the colour change iirc.

I have never worn anything red and never would.
I'd rather fuck a bag of broken glass

I'd keep supporting. Although I would grow my arms so my knuckles dragged on the floor, learnt some nursery rhymes, spoke in a southern accent and finally become an arrogant malevolent turd.
