I'd have Rooney because I believe that he is a young talent, one of the best footballers in the world, and he would fit into our squad nicely.

I also believe that Ferguson is past his prime, doesn't really understand how to man manage this new generation of footballer, and has always been pretty shite tactically.

That's not hypocritical, that's realising that football is a game of talent, and tribalism gets you absolutely nowhere.

I wonder if the internet had existed way back when, (1905 ish) would all the Utd fans have been objecting to the fact that their club took on the core of City's team( Meredith,Turnbull, Burgess and Bannister) after they were barred from the League...the core that went on to win the championship for Utd.
