Would You Pay Extra For A 2023/2024 Season Ticket That Guaranteed You A Ticket For Concerts, Etc, At The Coop Live Arena?

The fact the arena is next to the ground puts me off, it is run down area with poor transport links and near non-existent night-time economy offer.

The arena in the town centre is 10 times more attractive.

The last thing that was needed was an arena next to the stadium, the Council have already decided to restrict marking for at least a mile due to it. I hope it fails and is leveled within 10 years.

What!?

You do know you can stay inside the arena at numerous bars, restaurants, and food outlets after the concerts are over. There’s no need to rush home, rush into town, or get stuck in traffic.

I wish people would read up on what the arena has to offer before and after a concert and event. The info has been posted on numerous occasions on the Etihad Campus thread.

The arena won’t fail or be leveled in your lifetime, never mind in 10 years time.

Looking at my local arena.. prob 3-4 concerts I would pay to see per calendar year so this seems silly.

Question would be would city offer more superia season tickets and you get all “60” odd games for a price. Home away, cup, Europe. Maybe offer 10 a season. I know some guys do every game for a full season but it must be a ball ache to organise tickets.

Do you know the concert and event lineup for the first year?

Even if it was 4 concerts, you’d pay an extra £12.50 per concert to guarantee a ticket. Surely that’s worth it to guarantee a ticket instead of f*cking about on an internet/phone queue fighting for a ticket when tickets go on open sale.

How many season ticket holders are there? Guesing. 30,000? That’s 30,000 customers the Coop Live Arena could tap into even before tickets go on open sale.

With the Coop Live Arena and the eventual development of the Etihad Campus and Collar site a season ticket can be more than just a season ticket for football matches at the Etihad. It can be a season ticket for the whole Etihad Campus leisure offering where season ticket holders get priority and discounts to concerts, events, and attractions.

Not for this arena no but as others said the pricing and acts performing would all be complex. Unless is was something directly related to city.

As they are connected it would be good to see a relationship like say 10% discount on tickets. I think etihad airlines use to do something for ST holders but stopped?

Or even open their facilities on match day. Like city square but Inside!!

It will be £7 for a pint of Fosters etc. Any large venue normally has the bars shut at 10pm too, arenas and stadiums.

The tram line shutting for 2 years won't help either. If you go there 25 times a year for the footy why on earth not go somewhere different? An albino mastodon, maybe they can use it as the casino in the end after all.

You don’t know the price point. That’s a guess. How much is a pint in town? £6? The Bars will stay open long after the concerts are over. Catch a cab into town afterwards. £5. Or take a 20 minute stroll into town.

The arena opens in December 2023. HS2 won’t arrive until post 2030.

Stop the misinformation, Corky.

Yes, there is plenty of scope for a relationship and tie in between City, OVG, season ticket holders, and the Coop Live Arena.

As City/CFG are 50% stake holders in the arena along with OVG, they could make it happen.

Until last year there were over 40,000 season tickets but reduced due to Covid/deferrals.
