Thanks.

We all know City come up with some great ideas ;-) to squeeze that little bit extra out of City fans. A Platinum Season Ticket being just 1 example of many.(of many)
If City introduced a season ticket add-on for the 2023/24 season costing £50 extra, similar to the platinum season ticket add-on, which guaranteed you a ticket regardless of the concert, artist, group or event at the Coop Live Arena, would you be tempted to opt in on your season ticket?
The Coop Live Arena is planned to open in December 2023.
I would.
I think the OP’s idea meant it to be a limited offer available to say the first thousand (or perhaps fewer than that) City season ticket holders to apply who would then pay to have the option for priority tickets should they want them. The arena will only hold around 23,000 so no way could a guarantee be sold to more City fans than there are seats in the venue!Literally wouldn't happen.
That be 30 thousand odd fans getting ahead of tickets for gigs and then not allowing others the chance to buy one.
Also don't think the artists be happy knowing that either.
Good idea, but unrealistic

A big NO from meNot quite right. Even though I do take your point. The are only some many people out of that 30,000 who will want to go and see specific artists and bands. I appreciate the big artists and bands will be a bigger draw. The Coop Live Arena has a capacity of 23,500. The biggest acts will probably play a few nights, like they do at the AO Arena. Apparently Harry Styles is the first act to play at the arena. It's not for me. Pie in the sky I know. If Oasis reformed and played a week at the Coop Live Arena, most if not all season ticket holders who opted in would buy a ticket.

Would work that its access to a venue presale but even that would only be for 1k tickets or so, it'd be impossible to guarantee tickets to every event but most venues have presales, issues then come in with some promoters saying they don't want anyone accessing a presale but it doesnt happen that often.
it would all depend on how many people sign up, I don't think it would be a crazy amount of people that would pay for access... would be a touts wet dream though, the tickets for the first gig (99% harry styles) could go for crazy money if people wanted to get rid of tickets
City and OVG could make season ticket holders who have opted in the next level down below priority before the tickets go on the usual general sale scramble.I was meaning more to do with who gets access to tickets first
Which would be city season ticket holders.
I wasn't aware HS is the first act to play.

The rumour is it's Harry Styles as he's invested in the arena. They need a headline act to open the arena. Would make sense
