The Arsenal will keep an option to a title.

Chelsea is a title contender by far and losing against them will not hamper City's chances to get a spot in top 6.

A loss against Chelsea will also probably turn City into a champion maker as United will need to do as well as Chelsea for the derby second leg. This will be an opportunity to frustrate United from a league title.
