Thinking this last night. Skrtel is Stoke-class but Agger is an excellent footballer who can bring the ball out of defence.Dirty Harry said:

Agger over Lescott every day of the week for me.
If most of our possesion is going to be played amongst the back 4 in games, we need to play it quicker and Lescott slows everything down for me which has been part of the problem recently with Vinnie out.

VK is no different, he just gives it to Lescott & gets it back again. The midfield need to take it.
Plus we are talking replacing a player who has been one of the best defenders in the league, for one who got bumfucked by Bolon Wanderers.

VK is no different, he just gives it to Lescott & gets it back again. The midfield need to take it.

Also you can't judge Agger on 1 bad game, judge him over the season and he's keeping out Carragher and Liverpool have a fantastic defensive record for the most part!

I am comparing them yes. Vinny can run with the ball & plays an occasional spectacular pass. The other 9 times he tries it, it goes for a goalkick at the other end of the pitch. Both of them are mostly shite at passing & best when they just keep it simple pass to each other & then to Yaya Toure. Both are top defenders & better than anything at Liverpool.

Kompany is not "shite" at passing. He's known as one of the best passing CB's going.
